Comment Moderation

Well, it finally happened... The spammers found my blog. My blog settings used to allow for anyone to comment and for the comments to be immediately loaded to the blog page. After waking up to 20 'new comment' email notifications, I knew something was up. (I didn't think my Bilbao post was that exciting...) :) Luckily, the comments aren't rude or crude, they just have little advertising links attached to the end of the comment - a little '>>' symbol that is linked to some outside website. I'm working to delete the comments anyway.

So, I changed my blog settings where all new comments have to be approved by me before they will be posted to the site. Anyone can still post comment and you can still post as "anonymous", the comments just won't show up on the site right away.

I do love getting comments, so don't let this deter you from leaving them! Gracias!
